style=color:#ff0000;>CIS产生的时代背景</span></strong></p><p>CI是在特定的时代背景下产生的，与社会生产力的发展、企业经营理念的发展以及人类物质消费水平的发展都息息相关。从工业文明发生，发展到今天，我们生存的世界已经发生了极大的改变，人们普遍认为我们已经进入到信息化时代。实际上早在上个世纪50年代，学术界就已经提出了“后工业化社会”的概念。到1973年，丹尼尔?贝尔《后工业社会的来临》的出版则在西方世界引起轰动，并产生广泛影响。该书认为：后工业社会是以知识为核心，而不再像前工业社会依靠从自然界提取资源，以工业生产以及生产机械为核心。以知识为核心组织起来的后工业社会的主要目的在于对社会进行管理并指导社会的变革，并将产生新的社会关系和新的社会结构，以商品生产为主导的社会将转变为以信息和知识为主导的社会。此后不久，贝尔又将“后工业社会”总结为”信息社会”，并认为后者比前者在概念上更为准确和科学。这种观点在世界范围内得到广泛的认同。</p><p>在信息社会中，由于商品生产技术水平的提高和趋同，同类商品在质量上与功能上的差别越来越小，衡量商品价值不再仅仅以商品的实用性和功能性作为唯一标准，蕴含在商品中的信息价值、形象价值等无形价值所占的比重越来越大。样式和质量相同的一件外衣，因为具有不同的品牌商标，价格可能要相差几倍甚至几十倍，这正是信息价值所创造的奇迹。</p><p>CI正是在这样的时代背景下产生、发展和不断完善的。CI的导入，通过为企业制定统一完整的精神、行为和视觉方案，潜移默化地影响周边的受众，力争使企业或商品品牌在信息社会中占有一席之地，使经营者获得更多的回报。</p><p style=color:#ff0000;>CIS的发展</span></strong></p><p><strong>一，起源于欧洲</strong></p><p>研究者们普遍认为，20世纪初的欧洲是当代CIS设计发源地。1907年，德国现代设计的重要奠基人贝伦斯为德国通用电器公司(AEG)设计出西方最早的完整企业标志和企业形象，是现代企业形象设计系统化的开端。贝伦斯不仅对AEG的旧标志进行了大刀阔斧的改进，使其更加简洁、明朗和具有时代感，同时还以统一化和规范化的手法将其应用到信封、信纸等办公用品以及部分产品上，形成了焕然一新、完整统一的公司新形象。</p><p>在欧洲，整体视觉形象设计的例子还有20世纪30年代的伦敦地铁视觉形象设计，以及40年代意大利奥利维蒂(Olivetti)打字机公司的整体视觉形象设计。这些都可以看作是成功CI设计的雏形，并且都取得了较好的宣传效果和社会效应。</p><p>1936年吉奥瓦尼?平托里负责为欧洲大型企业意大利的办公设备生产公司奥里维蒂(Olivetti)树立企业形象，1947年他为公司设计了新的企业标志，用没有大写字母的无装饰线体组成，没有符号，利用文字，也就是将企业名字作为企业标志，准确又鲜明，而无装饰线体则提供了非常现代的内涵。平托里的一个重要贡献是奠定了公司每年向世界各个国家推广的企业海报的设计定位。这些平面设计的总体保持了简单、规范、整体的原则，整体和细节部分的统一，活泼性和严肃性的整合，是企业形象的一个非常突出的特色。</p><p /></p><p><strong>二，成型于美国</strong></p><p>第二次世界大战结束后，经过战争洗礼的欧洲还处在百废待兴的建设中，美国企业则异军突起，成为世界经济的领头羊，为整体企业形象设计在美国的兴起奠定了坚实的基础。开创CI系统设计先河的，就是著名的IBM公司。20世纪50年代中期，当IBM的董事长威特逊向他的设计顾问问道“IBM公司的优点是具有开拓精神和创造性。那么公司怎样才能把这些特色有效地传达给世界人士呢7”得到的回答是“应该通过一切设计来传达IBM的优点和特色，并使公司的设计统一化。”根据这一理念，IBM开始对公司的形象系统进行了全新的设计和开发，重新构筑了完整的企业形象识别系统。此后，IBM迅速在世界范围内被认知、认可，并成长为影响遍及全球的名牌企业，被誉为美国的“蓝色巨人”。</p><p>IBM导入CI的成功，引起其他美国企业的纷纷效仿，到20世纪70年代，美国的大中型企业掀起了一股导入CI的热潮。如美孚(Mobile)石油公司、西屋(westing house)电器，可口可乐公司等。CI的成功导入为美国企业在世界的发展作出了巨大的贡献，并在世界范围内造成了积极的影响，给人们留下了深刻的印象。</p><p>美式CI比较重视从视觉形象的设计人手统领整个企业形象的设计，重视整体性与标准化的执行。在企业管理上则比较重视制度条例的制订与严格执行。通过统一化和标准化的视觉形象和管理模式对公众造成影响，扩大企业的知名度。从视觉风格上看，美国的企业形象设计简洁大气，具有较强的视觉冲击力，很有点唯我独尊的意味。</p><p>欧洲的CI模式形成于美国有多方面因素。首先从世界经济背景上看，二战后欧洲经济亟待复苏之时，美国的经济已阔步向前，开始由工业社会向”知识就是资本”的信息社会转变；企业间的竞争从局部的商品竞争，价格竞争，资源竞争、资金竞争、人才竞争、技术竞争、信息竞争阶段，发展到企业整体竞争——企业形象竞争阶段。</p><p>其次，从科技发展背景上看，科技进步大大丰富了传播媒介的形式，产品行销信息由传播媒介（报纸．杂志．电台．电视台．电影等）迅速播撒到社会各个角落，像潮水一样冲击着每一个人的神经中枢，与人们的生活如影随形，甚至影响或创造了人们新的生活方式。为避免泛滥的传播互相干扰和抵消有效信息，企业就必须整合自己的信息状态，使其不仅具有同一性．整体性，同时还有独特的、新颖的个性，增强其易识别性并给公众留下深刻印象。</p><p>再次，从社会消费背景上看，公众在基本生活需求被满足后的消费需求愈加多样化，商品生命周期也相对缩短。此时商品的物化功能已不再是刺激消费的唯一因素，消费者在消费上要求有更多个性化的服务感受。这就要求企业从单纯的商品生产向全方位的企业或品牌形象塑造发展，从服务态度、人为因素的管理和教育方面发掘并引导消费取向。</p><p>最后，从企业责任背景上看，企业的社会性功能越来越重要，企业导入CI战略不仅要融入文化因素进行产品定位、市场定位，更要突出企业的视觉识别系统特征，而且还要在视觉识别的基础上利用文化的手段和范围从内涵到外延，全方位、立体化地去塑造企业形象以应对社会责任的挑战，积极致力于社会公益事业。这是一种高品位的经营之道。</p><p>CI战略不可避免地带有时代的局限性，美国的CI设计注重VI部分的传播，不注意培养企业理念，发展经营策略，缺乏营销思想，上世纪70年代后期由于经济萧条．CI热在美国大大降温。美国IBM公司从80年代末期开始出现了危机，可以说是CI战略负面效应的前兆。学者李艾?李斯提出，CI理论是“从里向外”的思维方式从企业的角度，而不是从消费者的角度出发。这与“推销观念”向”市场观念”转化的市场营销观念不符。</p><p>于是，西方发达国家取而代之产生了CS(Customer Satisfaction System)．即顾客满意战略。1986年美国一家市场调查公司以cs理论为指导首次发表了顾客对汽车满意程度的排行榜。它作为一种适应时代需求趋势的经营战略，弥补了CI过分强调企业自身形象的不足，使CI战略跳出以企业为中心，走向以消费者为中心，继续发挥其功能效应。</p><p><strong>三、影响到东方</strong></p><p>20世纪70年代，部分亚洲国家和地区的经济开始进入了快速增长的黄金年代。中国香港．日本、韩国、新加坡等迅速发展，成为世界经济领域中重要的一部分。</p><p>在二战废墟上迅速崛起的日本，具有善于学习与借鉴他国经验并将其与自身优势结合的特长，20世纪70年代企业形象设计被引入日本。日本较早实施CI的公司，如MAZDA、大荣百货、松田等大企业最初都受到美国式CI的影响，在企业标志上下功夫，以标准宇、商标、标准色的视觉统一和美化作为CI策划的核心。但是，日本企业在实施CI的过程中逐渐意识到这种偏重于企业管理的视觉识别传达并不完全适合日本。它们认为，企业要想在公众中树立良好形象，增强自身的竞争力，不仅要扩大企业的认知度，更重要的是要让公众对企业产生好感和信赖。因此，日本结合本国特点和需要，通过不断的完善和发展，形成了具有日本特色的企业策划理论——CIS战略。企业在导入CIS的过程中，在重视视觉信息传递的同时尝试探索表达企业更深层次的东西。企业通过树立正确的经营理念，开展具有整体性和独创性的多种识别活动并为公众提供良好的产品和优质服务，来赢得公众对企业的喜爱和信赖。</p><p>同美国式CI相比，日本式CIS体系涵盖了更为丰富的内容。这些内容包括三大基本要素理念识别(Mind Identity)，简称MI．行为识别(Behaviorldentity)．简称BI;视觉识别(Visual Identity)，简称VI。这样日本式的CI就具有了更深的含义：它指运用视觉设计手段，通过标志的造型和特定的色彩等表现手法，使企业的经营理念、行为观念、管理特色，产品包装风格．销售准则与策略形成一种整体形象。同时将企业名称、企业标志经过标准字体．标准色等统一规范之后，由内至外进行企业与社会之间的信息交流和传播，以最快的速度、最深的印象，让社会和公众注意自己、认识自己、了解自己，从而塑造出企业的最佳形象。日本模式的CIS与美国模式的CI相比，主要在于扩大了视觉设计的领域，把设计内容扩大到企业营销管理上来。企业形象设计成了一个庞大的系统。因此，日本企业从开始策划到CIS的具体实施会耗费较长的时间。</p><p><strong>四、CI在中国</strong></p><p>CI在中国的发展首先出现在与国际经济联系较紧密的台湾和香港地区，其中台湾地区的CI设计开始得较早并较有特色。1967年台塑企业正式导入a，成为台湾CI发展的里程碑。此后，味全公司、大同企业、声宝公司等也相继成功导入CI．企业形象设计在台湾全面展开，并产生了一批专门从事CI设计的公司。1985年，林磐耸先生出版了台湾第一本a专著《企业识别系统》。这些专业公司的成立和专著的出版，促进了台湾CI的发展，并在探索适合中国企业的CI设计的方向上进行了理论上和实践上的初步探讨与实践。</p><p>综合来看CI设计在台湾的发展大约经历了两个阶段：第一阶段为1970-1980年，为初步发展阶段，这个时期企业在CI导入上侧重于视觉识别设计方面。第二时期是在1980年以后，台湾企业通过大规模的整合，逐渐形成了许多组织庞大的企业集团，为了建立大型企业的良好形象，这些企业利用各种渠道，来塑造新的企业形象，这一时期台湾企业的CI导入侧重于企业形象力导向。</p><p>20世纪80年代中期．CI作为一种概念在中国部分美术高校设计专业中被讲授。到了80年代末，一些从事商标设计和广告设计的专业设计人员，在涉猎国外设计经验之后，积极倡导我国的CI设计运作。我国沿海经济发达地区的部分企业，受到国际化和市场化经营的感召，顺应时代潮流，率先导入了CI系统，揭开了CI在中国大陆传播的序幕。</p><p>被公认为首家导入CI的企业是广东太阳神集团公司。太阳神集团公司原是一家很小的民间股份制乡镇企业．1988年”太阳神”决定导入CI系统，太阳神系列产品脱颖而出，奇迹般发展起来，成为老少皆知的名牌。CI导入的成功，使太阳神集团公司在市场上树立起鲜明而深刻的形象，打开了市场之门，年销售额从最初的500万元迅速攀升至1992年底的12亿元。在太阳神的商业神话之中，CI设计的导入和实施显然功不可没。正是这样神话般的商业奇迹带动了中国CI设计的发展。一时间，国内各种大、中、小型企业纷纷导入CI，其中不乏设计优秀、实施彻底的成功案例。</p><p>但是，为何CI在中国企业中却是“昙花一现”呢？主要有以下几方面因素：</p><p>首先，从企业管理角度来看，我国企业刚刚步人市场，很多企业连最基本的“企业问题”还尚未理顺，目前企业最缺失的是没有建立起现代企业制度，更谈不上加强<a class="webkey" target="_blank" href="https://www.ltdmt.com/qiyewenhua">企业文化建设</a>，提高企业员工整体素质。很多时候企业管理者不与设计者沟通，长官意志决定设计，导致设计出来的CI不能充分体现企业精神而更多表达个人好恶。管理阶层的素质对CI的导入影响重大，经营策略是由管理层制定的，只有在同管理者的密切配合下．CI才起作用，设计师为企业策划的新形象、制定的经营策略必须由管理层推行。毕竟，设计师只是号手，企业领导才是指挥。</p><p>在中国不一定所有的企业和机构都必须导入CI．也没有必要等到我国企业整体水平达到CI层次，只要企业发展态势良好，就可逐步在企业中导入CI。它是一个试验性的过程，就像中国的经济特区一样，它们的成功会带动其他地区的发展。如海尔集团导入CI战略对它成功走向世界市场就起到了推波助澜的作用。</p><p>其次，从经济角度来看，中国经济发展势头迅猛，但由于基本国情目前并不能与西方发达资本主义并驾齐驱，市场经济体制仍待完善。一些管理者认识肤浅，把CI设计当作简单的外包装手段，并不注重管理营销策略、企业文化，盲目追求产品包装和广告效应，以为不惜血本的广告会带来厚利，如20世纪90年代中期标王盛行，假冒伪劣、盗版产品大行其道。这是健康商品市场竞争中的陷阱，也是CI设计的误区之一。</p><p>最后，从设计从业者角度而言，CI手册的制作中凝聚着设计师的调查，分析、构想与制作心血，在日本做一套CI手册可能会耗费数年时间，仅仅一个标志就会有上千次的反复修改。而中国的专业设计公司能真正驾驭CI的很少，大部分所谓广告或设计公司对CI理解不够，也缺乏现代市场营销的整体知识。因为设计市场鱼龙混杂，恶性竞争，压价，难以保证设计质量。</p><p><strong>五．CIS发展新趋势</strong></p><p>CI发展之一：销售CI设计成品</p><p>西方出现了这样一种CI推广方式，即针对不同类型的企业，预先设计出成批的CI方案，印在扑克牌一般的纸片上，并配光盘或软盘，让企业看样选购。设计内容主要是VI，也可以有理念口号。这种设计方案相当便宜，一般几百美元至几千美元一套，对刚成立的小企业而言，比较适合。</p><p>CI发展之二：顾客满意系统CS</p><p>顾客满意系统cs(Customer Satisfaction
